Cam Mills Aerial View from the 1960's Previous   Contents    Next

This aerial photograph shows just how extensive the Cam Mills site had become by the 1960's (ST 753 999).  The large block used for spinning can be seen on the left hand side.  

The 1815 block with the clock tower is in the centre and the weaving block to the right.  

Immediately below the lower boundary of the site is the railway branch line between Coaley Junction on the main Bristol to Gloucester line and Dursley.  The houses are in Hopton Road.
