"The Hush Hush Factory " By Nigel Dawe
The first group publication was "The Hush Hush Factory " By Nigel Dawe which told the story of the Nuffield Mechanisation and Aero Shadow Factory at Tubney Woods from 1940 -1942 .
The book was first published in December 1992 and consisted of 27 pages following the history of the factory and the people who worked in secret there . Nigel's research brought back a part of Oxfordshire's history that had been overlooked and produced a very fine example of what the Ridgeway Military and Aviation Research Group stands for .
Presently the Author is compiling a new version incorporating new information made available after the first issue .
A few copies do remain of this very popular publication.
