At least once a year I aim to walk coast-to-coast across the Scottish Highlands. As often as possible I sleep out on the tops of them (The Book of the Bivvy is my book about summit sleepouts; Across Scotland on Foot is my one about walking across Scotland). So I do sometimes get nice shots of dawn and sunset. As well as the grand and popular areas such as Torridon, Ben Nevis and Glencoe, I do have shots of more obscure hills, including a collection of the 2500-foot Corbetts: my picture of Beinn Bheula, below, appears on the back cover of the SMC Corbetts Guidebook (2002). On this site I plan, eventually, picture pages on the Cairngorms and the Scottish Islands.
