A Guided Tour of the bar.....

The Royal McGregor is run by the McGregor family (see the clan history). James, his parents Robert and Sandra and sister Susan bring a personal touch to this bar at the heart of the Royal Mile that reflects the mix of ancient and 21st century, locals and visitors, traditional and cosmopolitan.

There has been a pub on this site for many years (it was previously Valentines and The Covenanters) but The Royal McGregor now marries the best of the present with the traditions of the past in a beautifully refurbished bar serving quality and affordable meals.
