Virginia Farm was the last of the village farms to be built on, and although the farm was a sad loss to the village, many consider it better to build within village boundary, than it is to extend the village towards Taunton.

The top set is of the farm before it was levelled, the second pair were taken as the bulldozers did their duty and the third set show some of the new housing.

The new houses were built in 1990 and many of the residents have become an integral part of village life.
