Characters and persona from films and stage plays graced by the actor are the basis of storylines interwoven under the direction of the character AR the Director, each seemingly being filmed on one giant set known as Flights of Fancy.

Individual episodes are posted by the authors, sometimes writing in tandem with others on the same thread (storyline), one after the other on a rolling book.

It is of the nature of tandem writing that one post will often feed from another, therefore some of these stories may have some small gaps in narrative. Not enough however, to loose the overall thread.

Each posting paragraph is clearly marked and was intended to be read as a self-contained unit.The only amendment made to the original has been the removal of comments, often relating to other then current story threads, which have no meaning within the context of the story.

Only the names are taken from the Rickman character, they are from that point their author's creation and are not intended to bear any resemblance the original bearer of that name.

Perhaps this way the stories will reach a wider audience and, who knows, encourage others to  join an interactive story like Flights of Fancy, or simply just write and publish on their own web page.
