Don't 'go on a diet', rather, adopt a healthy new lifestyle
Eat more smaller meals throughout the day, rather than fewer large ones
Never skip breakfast, by mid-morning you'll be starving and reaching for the biscuit tin.
Copy the rhyme "Little pickers wear bigger knickers!" and attach it to your fridge door. Certainly a turn off for naughty snackers
If you feel the temptation to snack, either brush your teeth or chew some gum. The minty taste will put you off eating
Cut out butter and margarine from sandwiches, you will not miss it, especially if you use a moist filling
Exercise first thing in the morning. It's more beneficial and you will have already done it, so no excuses later about not having time
Don't slump. You will appear half a stone lighter if you stand up straight
When hungry, nibble vegetable chunks with a dash of soy sauce. Fat free, tasty and healthy
