Spey Bay

Spey Bay is just to the east side of where the River Spey meets the North Sea. It is a small village and there is also an area set aside as a nature reserve and bird sanctuary.

The Tugnet Ice House is to be found at this location. The building was constructed for the cool storage of fish that had been caught by the fishermen. It is no longer in use for fish storage, however, there is an exhibition inside explaining its purpose.
