An independent Church founded for the furtherance of Spiritual Knowledge, Healers and Healing throughout the world.

The Christian Church of Spiritual Healing was founded on January 1^st 1999. The purpose was to set up an organisation which provides an environment in which spiritual people can work in their own way for the good of mankind and God without the restrictions and suffocating rules imposed by an overbearing governing body.

We are working to encourage new Churches throughout the British Isles as well as accepting existing Churches and Ministers under our guidance.
The primary aim is to promote Spiritual Knowledge and teach the art of Spiritual Healing, to set up Churches and Healing Sanctuaries and to encourage others to do likewise in a way that is accessible to everyone. To provide information, support, books, training and workshops for those who wish to learn and those who wish to train others.

Our aim is also to train people in the art of Mediumship and to remove the mystery surrounding this wonderful gift and show that we are all capable of these natural talents. We will hold seminars and workshops and have open circles and Healing circles and we will train Healers, counsellors and mediums in our groups.

We are looking for spiritually minded people who wish to learn and pass on their knowledge in the Church. We train and Ordain our own Ministers (who wear clerical attire for official duties) and accept those of other denominations who wish to join us in the furtherance of spiritual knowledge and teaching.

We believe in God the Father and in the Brotherhood of all life. Our teaching is that we are each responsible for our own actions in thought and deed, and that only we can correct our own wrong-doing. We affirm the teachings and examples of Jesus the Christ and endeavour to live by them.

The CCSH has been set up not for profit, but to enable Churches and Healing sanctuaries to be set up wherever there is a need, being run for the good of everyone. These places are not only to be for Church Services and  Healing but for the holding of  seminars and workshops to open up all aspects of spiritual life to anyone who wishes to learn. We want our sanctuaries to be made available to all.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDERS.

The CCSH was founded on 1st January 1999 by the Reverends' Paul and Val Powell. The Reverends' Powell who are currently Principals of the CCSH have been involved with the spiritualist movement and have worked as mediums and Healers since 1983. They have been working in the Churches since 1984 and were ordained as Ministers on October 5^th 1996. They found themselves more and more restricted by rules and regulations which did not seem to add anything to the Church, and so they felt there was a place for a Church which would let its people have the freedom to pursue their spirituality in their own way.
