IT'S ELECTRIC

It's Electric is an amateur Rock 'n' Roll band who just want to keep on Rocking and-a Rolling for as long as possible into the 21st century.
Formed by lead guitarist Steve Pearce in the summer of 1997 with former work colleagues Roger Lawrence (lead vocals and tambourine) and Keith Rendell (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), our original plan was to play just one gig, our annual works Christmas dinner and dance, December 1997.
Steve and Roger had performed casually at previous Christmas staff parties, but for 1997 thought it about time we put together a proper show and perform as professionally as possible (ha ha ha).
Although relatively new to the guitar, Keith came onboard to broaden our vocal arrangements and generally augment our overall sound and stage presence.
Then.................We were ready (well almost).
Our Christmas gig was successful beyond our wildest dreams.

A little later in March 1998, at Steves' fortieth (really!) birthday party, Garry joined the band. An old friend and former bandmate of Steves', bass guitarist Garrys' driving power bass playing and distinctive vocals provided the 'Icing On The Cake' to the unique sound of It's Electric.
And the rest, as they say, is just Rock 'n' Roll..............
