NEW WINDOWS FOR HOMES
MODERNISATION works are being carried out on homes in the east Lloyds area of Corby as part of a scheme to improve tenants’ living conditions. The 1930s homes are being brought up-to-date through works such as fitting uPVC windows, damp proofing, kitchen and bathroom refurbishments and other urgent improvements. The work is being funded by Corby Council and the Government’s Single Regeneration Budget. It is the fourth phase of a six year scheme, which began in 1996 and involves about 1,930 council homes.
