To mark this unique event in our lives we have commissioned a permanent Baptismal Font to replace the portable one previously in use, as a reminder to us and future generations that Baptism is the beginning of our life in Jesus and how we celebrated the 200th anniversary of his birth.

Paul Wherle, a stonemason of repute, who also happens to be a parishioner, has been given the commission. Our new Font is now in place and will be blessed at all masses on 9th January.

BY WATER AND THE HOLY SPIRIT  - BE BORN AGAIN

Fund raising projects  included the Parish production of "Daybreak", a Burns Night, an Italian Evening, Quiz night, Coffee Morning, an Entertainment Evening, 'Delboy's Fontasia' and the Demijohn at the back of the Church in which coins were collected.  

Placed in the font is a 'Time Capsule' containing photographs and details of Parish life in 1999.  .
