Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush
(Film, 1968, UK, Dir. Clive Donner)

The Critics say: 'Amusing, often clever adolescent romp.'(Leonard Maltin)

The Mind says: Sixties schoolboy discovers women, and fails to get it on with a vast range of groovy dolly-birds from a range of backgrounds. Based on a book that is apparently much better, the film features several B-grade actresses, including Judy Geeson and Bond-girl-to-be Angela Scoular, while the bigger names (Denholm Elliott, Michael Bates) wander round as though they got on the wrong bus that morning and should be at the Carry On studios instead. Either a pile of sexist pseudo-groovy nonsense or the best film ever made, depending on how drunk you are.
Music by Stevie Winwood & Traffic and Spencer Davis Group, which is something I suppose.

Useless fact: Director Cliver Donner worked with Woody Allen and Nicolas Roeg in the 60's.

Tip: See it drunk.
