Here Dr. Hirsch from the London hospital drives into the village in his MG in 1981, and by 2002 little has changed except the woodland is denser.

Crickadarn, Wales off the A470 was the movie location for the fictional village of East Proctor, Yorkshire. It was filmed in Wales rather than Yorkshire due to distance from London and for the scenery.

The Slaughtered Lamb is in fact a private house and always has been, in this very small village of only five houses and two churches.

The Angel of Death statue was a prop by the movie makers, and we are sure the house was dressed down to give a more eerie look, along with the "Slaughtered Lamb" sign.

David and Jack's first walk into the village, back in 1981 there was an extra wall and an outbuilding, not much else changed.

This road is the main route into the village from the A470 to Builth Wells, and the first road you would see if you visited the location.

American Werewolf in London - Locations American Werewolf in London - Locations David & Jack exit the pub after a hostile welcome from the locals and head for the moors. The bench outside the pub was borrowed from the adjoining church.

The house that doubled as the "Slaughtered Lamb" remains as it was then. The garage door is still the original but is now painted blue along with the rest of the house.

The Doctor enters the church yard to talk a concerned villager about the possibility of David changing into a Werewolf at the next full moon.

The Crates of beer in the background of the movie shot were props for the film. The gate and wall remains as it was 21 years ago, along with the church service sign to the right out of shot.
