The Wildstar Roadshow Mobile Disco offers a Reliable, Professional Service for any occasion, a Quality Sound and Light Show, and an Experienced DJ, all at a competitive price.

Established since 1992, the Wildstar Roadshow is based in Gwent. We can cover most of the South Wales Area enquire for details.

Weddings, Engagements, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Special Occasions - No challenge too big or too small!

The lightshow can be tailored to suit your special occasion, a 9 foot rig can be endowed with a range of lighting effects (Now including "Intelligent lighting") to provide an interesting and varied visual display - the size of the venue, the nature of the occasion, the age of the guests and any personal preference you may have is taken into account, when planning the exact content of the lightshow.

Professional CD & Minidisc players are used, and Sound Quality is considered essential, you will not hear any music distortion due to the volume being too high for the speakers!

Established in 1992, the Disco operates mainly in the Gwent area, within the boundaries of Pontypool - Abergavenny - Monmouth - Usk - Caldicot - Newport - Cardiff. If you are outside this area don't be afraid to ask for a quote, as we will only add on a small extra charge to cover the increased travelling time.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question. How many shows do you send out each night? Answer. In order to ensure
the highest standard, I currently operate only one show with myself as the DJ, but if I am already booked for a particular date I can usually refer you to a colleague who can offer a similar show. I am however interested in training an "apprentice" to work alongside me initialy, and eventualy sharing some of the workload. Interested parties please e-mail

Question. Can you play music for all ages? Answer. I always carry in the region of 400 CD's, which is probably twice as much as most shows. Music selection is one of the most important factors in presenting a memorable night, and special attention is payed to ensure that the music suit's the occasion and the requirements of the guest's.
A full dance floor is always the aim, and if that means playing some more unusual tunes, then so be it! I never arrive with a "play list" instead I make an effort to play all request's can provide music to suit a wide variety of ages and tastes, or alternatively I am equaly at home catering for a narrower age band concentrating more on one particular era.

Question. Have you ever had to cancel a disco? Answer. No. Never. If you have previously had a disco cancel on you usually the case is that somebody quoted you a fairly cheap price, then realised that they could get more money elsewhere and so made up a story to cancel. 95% of the people who ring up and say "Can you do a disco tonight we've been let down" when asked what price they had agreed to pay the original 'Disco' come up with a price considerably less than the rate a professional would have quoted.
If, touch wood, an unforeseen event was to occur, Any quality DJ would break there back to ensure that you were not let down!

EQUIPMENT PROFILE

For anyone who is interested, this section provides information about some of the equipment used by the Wildstar Roadshow Disco for a typical show. This equipment can always be enhanced or cut back at the request of whoever is booking the disco.
If, like many, you are not familiar with all the different types of equipment available to the modern DJ, all you need to know is that we can produce enough quality sound for around 300 people, and enough lighting to please a wide variety of ages. All the lighting is raised up on stands so everyone can see them, and we use a minimal amount of fog to enhance the lighting effects.... Unless of course I am playing enterely to a younger generation... then I may use quite a lot of fog!

The lighting display is suspended from a 9' wide piece of Trussing which can be raised up to 11' high if required. I do have other lighting available, but I find that listed above is all I need for pretty much any occasion. Where I have certain age groups to cater for I leave out some things, like for example no strobe lighting for older generations, or I might leave out the mirrorball for kids! A certain amount of Fog is necessary to see any of the effect lighting, but I do not consider fog to be an effect in itself and so use it sparingly. In smaller or low-ceiling venues it is not always possible to use the full show but in a small room just half of the full show can be quite effective.
