To meet the Lord at the top
Who told him to go back down
To which he replied: "Thanks a lot!
At my age I cannot carry on
Going up and down hills anymore.
My lumbago is killing me,
And my knees are really sore.
So any messages You may have
For the folks down below
Bring 'em Yourself and bring too,
The fire, the wind, and the glow.
I ain't coming here no more.
You are much fitter than I.
My days on earth are numbered
Whilst You say You cannot die".
