It was Judas's fate
To be a figure of hate,
Being considered a bit of a traitor.
But he's burning in Hell,
Whereas Christ is quite well -
Clearly Jude's sacrifice was much greater.
"He deserved it!" you say
Well, be that as it may,
(Let's ignore your blasé inhumanity).
If you just think about it
There's no way you can doubt it -
Without him there'd be no Christianity.
Just a pawn in God's game
He was hardly to blame.
What he did he was destined to do.
And unlike Jesus Christ,
Who can do what he likes,
Judas died - and stayed dead - just for you.
