News & Events On the 31st March 2000, the Unicorn Self Help Group has been entered in the Central Register of Charities by the Charity Commission under registered number 1080172. A copy of our constitution is available for inspection upon request by interested parties. If any members need some assistance, financial or otherwise, to attend a meeting from within a 20 mile radius, please contact a committee member for details. The Unicorn group have donated £2040 to cerebellar ataxia research in the last year due to the fund raising activities of the members and committee. We will be having a small celebration of our new status as an independent charity at our June 2000 meeting. Members and other attendees might like to bring along a plate of "finger food" or cakes to help the evening be a success.... |
