Andrew Brocklebank

Clean Sheets in 2000/2001 - 0

Brocklebank is a reliable and usually safe keeper, if anything he saves the difficult ones, and lets in the easy ones. Plays in almost every match and he is improving as a result of it. Did very well in his first year as Kelsall keeper, despite not keeping a single clean sheet. However, none of the keepers this year achieved a clean sheet, and part of this blame must be laid on the defence.

Position - RB
Goals in 2000/2001 - 0

Burge has been a very reliable member of the squad for the past year, despite being small. He never gives up and consistently tries his best. A regular at right back, he's made that position his own with some good tackling and confident heading. Formed part of the regular defence for the majority of the season.

James Cowell
DoB - 16th November 1985
Years at Kelsall - 4
Position - CB
Goals in 2000/2001 - 0
E-mail address -
Cowell never shys from a header and it is this trait that has helped to earn him a consistant place in the centre of the Kelsall defence. Good in the tackle too, Cowell's only real problems are a lack of pace, and a bad back. However, these won't stop him playing and he is expected to be an integral part of the Kelsall defence for another year this year.

Simon Froggatt
DoB - 14th May 1986
Years at Kelsall - 1
Positions - CF
Goals in 2000/2001 - 5
E-mail address - musicalhamster@hotmail.com
In his first year at Kelsall Froggatt performed ok, however he is hindered by a distinct lack of stamina. A fairly poor tackler, Froggatt does however excel at heading. His poor defensive qualities led to him playing as a striker for much of the season, his shooting, although by no means excellent, is definitely improving and he should score more this year than he managed last year.

A bit of a misfit, position-wise, at the start of the season. Since Ross moved up the left flank to the wing position, Paddy has made left-back his own. Fantasic for much of the season, Paddy won the "Most Improved Player of the Year" award, and deservedly so. Good with his head, and good on the floor, Paddy has a footballing brain and knows what to do with the ball, usually.

Position - CM
Goals in 2000/2001 - N/A

So far excellent in the centre of midfield. He and Milner have linked up brilliantly in the two games Sam has played so far. No goals as yet, but sure to score this year. A hard battler, Sam will never give up. A thinking mans footballer, Sam is keen in both defence and attack and is more than capable of setting people up, instigating moves.

Philip Milnes
DoB - 9th September 1985
Years at Kelsall - 2
Position - CM
Goals in 2000/2001 - 0
E-mail address - milnerizgod@hotmail.com

Captain of the side, and perhaps the hardest working member. Milner commands the team from mid-field, digging in when the going is tough and tackling for his life. Though sometimes his long passing is poor, his general footballing skill is excellent. Philip can defend well, slotting into the defense at times of crisis, and his attacking is also excellent, though shooting is not his highest quality.

Adam Nicholls
DoB - 3rd June 1986
Years at Kelsall - 2
Position - CF
Goals in 2000/2001 - 0
E-mail address -
Top scorer last season, Adam is very determined and never gives up chasing a ball, often hastling the keeper into a mistake. When a mistake is made, Adam is sure to capitalise. Adam rarely left the field in his second season at Kelsall, a mark of his quality. Probably the quickest member of the side.

Shaun Page
DoB -
Years at Kelsall - 0
Position - CM, CF
Goals in 2000/2001 - 0 for Kelsall, ? for Tarvin
E-mail address -
An excellent player, Shaun is sure to become one of the best players in the Kelsall side this year. An excellent playmaker, and an equally good striker, Shaun is sure to score some goals in the first season of his second spell here. Extremely skillful, Shaun is one of the biggest piss takes in the world.

Andrew Pearson
DoB - 22nd August 1986
Years at Kelsall - 1
Position - RW
Goals in 2000/2001 - 0
E-mail address - mexican_wave16@hotmail.com
AP is hard working and a fairly good tackler, sometimes lacking in stamina, his pace is his main asset. Suprisingly quick, AP can play in most midfield positions. His crossing is not brilliant, but his passing is excellent. A fairly quiet player, this should not fool you, Ap will keep working for as long as his legs will carry him.

David Ravenscroft
DoB - 26th March 1986
Years at Kelsall - 2
Position - CB
Goals in 2000/2001 - 0
E-mail address -
The rock that the Kelsall defence is built on. Div was player of the year, to popular acclaim. An excellent motivator, David is captain in the absence of Milner. A great header, passer and tackler, David's is one of the solidest places in the team. A player who just oozes stamina, David could run all day. Bastard.

Ross Tomlinson
DoB - 18th June 1986
Years at Kelsall - 4
Position - LW
Goals in 2000/2001 - 1
E-mail address -
Excellent player, left winger for most of the season, after a succesful spell at left back during the first half of the year. A good crosser, and the best left foot in the team. A good passer with a good footballing brain and excellent vision. Sure to be an important part of the side again this year, Ross was one of only two regular places in mid-field, the other Milner.

Philip Vernon
DoB - 31st October 1985
Years at Kelsall - 1
Position - LW, RW, CF
Goals in 2000/2001 - 0
E-mail address -
Hindered by a lack of pace, Vernon does not let this stop him. Playing well in goal on the one occassion he was required, Vernon will try his hand at anything. The only player this year to have played in goal, defence, mid-field and as a striker, Vernon may not have scored in the league, but he scored Kelsall's only cup goal this year.

Andrew Wilgose
DoB - 19th March 1986
Years at Kelsall - 1
Position - CM, LF
Goals in 2000/2001 - 0
E-mail address -
An excellent player, as well as being a more than capable mid-fielder, Wilgose plays well as a left sided forward too, linking up well with Ross. Although he failed to score in his first season, he played very well in every game he featured in. A very versatile player who has shown that he is well capable of playing in any position, even as a goalkeeper. Andrew is sure to play well in his second season.
