Under the Banyan Tree

Every year when berries appear on the banyan tree a family of monkeys migrate to the tree.
There are lots of parrots at the time.
It is a noisy season then.

The monkeys come from a hillock where the monkey temple is.
They suddenly appear in the middle of summer.
Some of the young ones that came last year bring their babies this time.
People feel happy to see them back again as they are lively and playful.
They do acrobatics, chase each other on the tree and accept food from the passers-by.
Sometimes they are naughty.
They pluck the eatables from children and steal mangoes from Anga and bananas and other things from the shop.
